Conflict in Sanlúcar de Barrameda against Tecnocasa

The conflict started when comrade Jonathan, a salesperson for Tecnocasa in Sanlúcar was being coerced by his boss to conclude a misleading deal with a client of the real estate agency.  The employee's refusal to lie and use trickery with the client led to an argument with his superior, Jesus Saborido Raposo, owner and sole administrator of this franchise.  Since then, the strategy of the company has been to harass the worker and make his life impossible. In this way, persecuted at work and economically suffocated for months, Jonathan fell into a deep depression. This forced him to take sick leave and he is getting psychiatric treatment. The company is not paying for either his sick leave or social security payments for the worker.
The case was brought to court and this resulted in an act of reconciliation but without any agreement. The company called Estudio Andalucía Golf 2004 (FRANCHISE OF TECNOCASA) declared a suspension in payments (an evasive maneuver to avoid paying months of salary and payment for the settlement by rescinding the contract with all its rights).  At the same time it opened another branch with the name  Estudio Sanlúcar 1 in the very center of the city.  Alongside all this we contacted the employer to come to a negotiated agreement and, in the absence of any response, we organized a series of actions in front of  Tecnocasa. There have already been four as of writing this. The first one was a bit tense; the company brought a notary and a lawyer in a plan to intimidate. During the next three actions, they closed the gates as soon as they saw us arrive. We distributed thousands of leaflets and the conflict can be seen all around the town, with stickers and posters. We also plan to walk around the streets with a megaphone.

So we will continue making as many direct actions as we see necessary, until they meet our justified demands.

The conflict is very important because it can be the lever for the creation of a union in our town after many decades without one. Our presence in Sanlúcar on May 1 and this conflict is making it clear to citizens that the CNT has returned to the city and is here to stay, something that fills us with pride. We therefore call for the solidarity of all comrades of the Confederation to make pressure on Tecnocasa either by actions in front of the company if they have one in your town or through solidarity faxes sent to the following addresses:
