CNT Actions Against Mercadona

On the 5th of March there was a demonstration in Illescas against firings and bad labor practices in Mercadona supermarkets. The demonstrators call for a boycott of the chain and the reinstatement of all CNT workers dismissed from their supermarkets. The CNT opened the latest round of conflict with Mercadona when two CNT unionists were dismissed from an Illescas supermarket at the end of last year.

On the 8th of March, CNT unions from various cities such as Granada, Gijón, Logroño, Sagunto, Tarragona, Elche, Valladolid and León took part in solidarity pickets.
