On Thursday the 30th a group of CNT activists gathered at the front door of the company ISS in Quart de Poblet in Valencia to demand the immediate reinstatement of two comrades part of CNT's Union Section who had been fired from their jobs at the Jorge Juan Residence Home in Alicante.
During the protest, several banners were hung and we handed out pamphlets to the company's workers as they got off. After a while the national police came around, as per usual, and even gave us a clap on the back, they're also having a hard time job-wise apparently. Then, of course, they took our name and ID numbers, that's what they get paid for, right?
We made sure it was quite clear that we are ready and willing to extend our actions to the companies that ISS works with so they can see how well this company treats its workers and how it completely ignores reasonable demands.
NO TO UNION REPRESSION! NO MORE LAY OFFS! WORKER SOLIDARITY!
